Saturday, in spite of the rain, we continued our trip to Point Judith, RI. The waves were getting so big and the surfers were enjoying themselves. It looked very dangerous to me.
Moving on to Newport, RI , we visited "The Breakers" (the summer cottage for the Vanderbilt's). It faces the Atlantic Ocean and has 70 rooms. Not a bad summer cottage, is it? With talk of Hurricane Kyle heading toward the New England Coast, we decided to go inland for a couple of nights.
