Bird-In-Hand, PA

Friday, we went on a tour of the Pennsylvania Dutch Amish Country. Our tour guide was so knowledgable of the Amish people. We stopped at an Amish market and ate a "Whoopie Pie".

We had lunch at the Plain and Fancy Resturant, then watched a production of "Jacob's Choice".
We drove by so many pretty Amish homes and saw many children riding on their scooters down the road. That was a really neat sight. We saw lots of horse and buggys.

In the afternoon, we toured an Amish home and later stopped in a bakery to eat a soft pretzel.

Needless to say, we have had a wonderful good (as the Amish say) time today.

I'm glad the weather is good for you. I thought the leaves might be turning more there.

I assume they still have steel tired new tractors left at the barn to blow silage up into the silo. I saw the horse drawn waggon.

Things are good back home. Have fun.
